Well last night at The Stand in Glasgow was my 30th gig. (fanfare)
The Sunday night there is always compered by Michael Redmond who I'm a big fan of.
Great deadpan, mentalist stuff.
Interestingly, last night there was a member of the audience wearing a trilby and smoking
an 18 inch cigar, who quaintly didn't seem to entirely like being drawn attention to...
I got a pretty good reaction to my set. Was later a bit disappointed in myself as I smoked a couple of Keir McAllister's fags This is not good. I am a non-smoker (repeat x 1000)
Sunday nights are quite tricky, in that it's a pretty smallish audience, and there's that sunday, end-of-weekend feel to the night. But overall a good, enjoyable gig.
Had a great couple of gigs at the Leicester Comedy festival last week though. As good a reaction as I've ever had.
Other news....my cat proudly presented me with a dead rat he'd executed in the garden, first thing this morning.
Does this mean it's going to be a good day?
